Dripl believes the era of sugary sodas in disposable bottles is long gone. Every day, the Dripl team works to reinvent the soft drink industry. They call it the Refillution. Fighting against single-use plastic, they’re making a difference by bringing offices sparkling drinks that are good for people and the planet.

Marketing with a mission

A strong mission deserves an equally strong strategy. How do you reach the right audience and get them curious about a more sustainable alternative? Dripl was looking for a marketing partner who could make potential customers thirsty for their drinks. After a successful collaboration with our admin colleagues, they turned to Unikoo.

The request was clear: Dripl wanted more high-quality leads through their online channels, and a marketing approach that would give their sales team wings. They wanted to make smarter use of their channels, test which messages truly sparkled, and streamline their sales flow in HubSpot.

We eagerly dove into their existing setup and uncovered plenty of opportunities to add some extra fizz to Dripl’s marketing efforts.

First things first

We kicked things off with some technical optimizations. To properly track user behavior, we implemented Cookiebot as a cookie banner and fine-tuned consent mode to ensure the legal foundation for future marketing activities.

Next up: tracking. We expanded measurement significantly, adding micro-conversion tracking and end-of-funnel conversions, to get a complete picture of the customer journey. We also installed Microsoft Clarity, a free heatmap tool that visualizes how prospects interact with the website.

Based on these insights and a thorough analysis, we advised several key optimizations for Dripl’s website. What was working well? What could be improved? By focusing on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and providing data-driven recommendations, we helped enhance both the user experience and conversion rate.

We applied the same CRO techniques to improve the layout and content of our SEA landing pages, increasing the conversion rate by 1.06 percentage points, from 1.85% to 2.91% (leads/page views).  

A flavor for everyone

No matter how niche your target audience is, not every message resonates equally. That’s why we experimented with different marketing angles, from health benefits to sustainable office solutions, and created dedicated landing pages using Instapage.

We optimized existing campaigns on LinkedIn and Google, and expanded the marketing mix with Bing and Meta. We also ran periodic ads to support broader marketing actions (like giveaways) focused on reach, traffic, and lead generation.

Together with Dripl’s content marketer, we created fresh, sparkling ad creatives. We tested French-language ads and clear calls to action such as “Request a sample pack” or “Book an office tasting.” For every campaign, we handled strategic planning, execution, and follow-up.

Our efforts paid off: Dripl saw a 21% increase in average monthly inbound leads since the start of our collaboration. Bing even became their most cost-effective source of high-quality inbound leads.

Smooth flow, smart automation

Our comprehensive marketing approach brought not only a wealth of insights but also a range of new tools. Luckily, that doesn’t have to mean extra complexity. We ensured a smooth workflow and seamless data transfer between different marketing platforms, with HubSpot optimizations playing a key role.

Smart automations now support manual lead follow-up and save the sales team time. Notifications come straight into Slack, and lead scoring helps the team quickly identify the most promising opportunities. Thanks to end-of-funnel tracking, we optimized for lead quality, not just quantity. The result: a 40% increase in sales opportunities with potential customers.
