At Master Tours, everything revolves around travel. Not your typical city trip or summer beach holiday, but luxurious journeys for those who want to look beyond the classic holiday brochure. Under the Master Tours umbrella, you’ll find two sub-brands: Tooku, which focuses on exclusive tailor-made trips for individuals or young families to farawaydestinations, and anders dan anders, which offers unique group tours with Dutch-speaking guides that you won’t find just anywhere.
Their customers? Adventurous bon vivants looking for complete peace of mind when it comes to their holiday—and willing to invest a solid travel budget to get it. Their ambition? To reach even more of these customers. And so, our joint journey began.
The destination: growth. The vehicle? Paid advertising.
In a market where “mass” is a dreaded prefix, Master Tours needed to stand out through exclusivity. Their website was on point, the trips were meticulously curated, but traffic to the booking page remained low. And that booking page should be a most popular destination.
To attract potential customers to the website, we opted for a tailored approach, just like Master Tours. Think quiet luxury, audible only to a select few. In other words: a well-crafted paid advertising strategy that brought the right travellers to the right destination at the right time.
No guesswork or overly broad targeting, but precise ad strategies for each sub-brand, based on audiences and lookalike segments, interests, seasonal demand, and travel intent. And the ads themselves? We made them so visually compelling they sparked both daydreams and clicks. Smart remarketing campaigns took care of the rest.
The results?
Plenty of suitcases packed—and conversions secured
- We achieved an impressive contribution ROAS of nearly 10 for Tooku. In other words, each euro spent on advertising returned nearly ten euros in profit after direct costs.
- Nearly half of all direct customers for Tooku in 2024 came through our advertising efforts.
To help people explore new horizons, Master Tours first needed to make sure they could be found. And these campaigns certainly delivered.
