Ebema has been improving outdoor spaces with visionary ideas and elegant concrete solutions since 1946. For people, companies and governments, Ebema makes outdoor spaces cozier, smarter, more comfortable, safer, more beautiful, greener and stronger. Currently, there are three branches, the team consists of around 250 people and the company has approximately 60 million euros in turnover per year. The product range for the public market is known as Ebema_LivingCity, while Ebema_Stone&Style includes the range for gardens, patios, entrances and now also facing bricks.

The Project

The team at concrete manufacturer Ebema has been working to improve spaces since 1946. A mission for which they could use some extra support. That is why Herwig Dessers decided to further complement the marketing team with Unikoo's expertise.

Ebema and Unikoo joined forces and since then they have been a flexible marketing team that can adapt to any challenge. To relieve pressure and support specific projects, Unikoo's marketing expert Laurens acts as segment manager for Ebema_Stone&Style. A great move, because the cooperation still stands. In fact, Ebema continued to build on this solid foundation and called in even more Unikoo expertise. All-round marketer Stefanie is now also joining the team to support the brand-new segment of Ebema_Stone&Style BUILDING.

Marketing & communication

From foundation to finish, marketing built with passion

Laurens has worked at Ebema on various projects over the past few months, showing that he is a real builder when it comes to marketing! Here are some of the highlights of his performance:

  • Email marketing: like a real one tone-of-voice-wizard, he sent no less than 201 mailings to various target groups.
  • Copywriting: he took communication and design at Ebema to a higher level with his “word arts”. He even earned the nickname “word processor” for his virile copy and editorial blog articles.
  • Marketing and communication plan: together with his immediate colleague, he developed a plan for marketing the garden segment that he proudly presented at the strategy day.
  • Brochure upgrades: he transformed a product brochure into an inspiring viewing book about water management with editorial added value.
  • Campaign management: he came up with the “Concrete with Class” campaign and implemented it as a true concrete admirer.
  • Digital rebranding: he played an active role in Eurodal's digital rebranding process, where Laurens helped develop a rebranding strategy as a true digital jack-of-all-trades.

A double hit that will make you look up

2023 marks the year in which Ebema decides, in addition to the garden, terrace and entrance, to look up decisively with a range of facing bricks. Extra support from our colleague Stefanie proved to be the driving force in getting this segment off the ground. The question? Transform a well-founded marketing strategy into an equally strong implementation.

A selection of the marketing activities:

  • Website: the website needed valuable information and a critical look at the user experience. Our expert has reviewed and optimized the website. In addition, she continues to perform analyses to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Texture generator: we contributed to the development of a modern tool for designing your own façade. Together with an expert, Stefanie finalized this tool in terms of finishing and made adjustments based on user experiences.
  • Project management: we coordinated both online and offline marketing activities, including achieving short-term results with copywriting and performance marketing.
  • Online marketing: we supervised projects in the form of social media, copywriting and photo references.
  • Offline marketing: we created printed matter such as price lists, brochures and other promotional material and act as a contact person between external parties.
  • Email marketing: For writing a good and inspiring mailing, you've come to the right place with both Laurens and Stefanie!

Stefanie works closely with her sales colleagues to optimize communication and business processes within the façade segment. Thanks to her efforts, Ebema now has a solid foundation to conquer the brick market!
