1. Purpose and scope:

For Unikoo, AI is a strategic building block to make our services smarter, more consistent, and of higher quality. This charter establishes how we deploy AI in collaboration with clients and partners. It describes our principles and the guarantees we provide regarding confidentiality, ethics, and quality.

Unikoo operates from a centrally managed AI workspace, supplemented by internally validated AI tools. This allows our teams to use AI in a consistent, secure, and controlled manner, supported by shared knowledge and standardized workflows. All AI solutions used meet our security and quality standards, ensuring we combine efficiency with the diligence, transparency, and quality that clients expect from us.

2. Principles:

Human accountability: AI enhances our expertise, but it does not replace it. Our people always remain ultimately responsible for the decisions, analyses, and results we deliver.

Purposeful and transparent use: We only use AI where it creates tangible added value. Clients receive clear insight into how and why we use AI within their project.

Ethical and reliable: We consciously choose AI applications that are reliable and applied with care. We avoid unwanted bias and ensure that decisions are never made solely based on AI.

Client data is never shared with public AI services or external parties without the client's explicit consent or appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

Legal compliance: Our use of AI is in line with the best practices of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
