Unifly

Founded almost a decade ago by a team of experienced aerospace and technology experts, Unifly has grown over the years to become a pioneer and global leader in Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM). After all, with the rise of drones in (inter) national airspace, the need for effective and safe solutions for managing and controlling these unmanned aircraft grew. In the meantime, Unifly has established itself as the reliable partner for governments, aviation authorities, airports, ports and cities.

The Project

A company that grows quickly faces numerous financial and HR challenges and complexities. With a growing number of international investors (Series A in 2016, B in 2019 and B+ in 2022), a global market and a growing team, Unifly needed stable long-term solutions for HR, operational financial management and financial insights when making strategic policy choices. And it was precisely this need that prompted the pioneers at Unifly to be supported by a multidisciplinary team from Uniko, as a complement to the internal expertise of passionate Unifly employees. To do this, Unifly was able to land with our HR and Finance consultants, accomplishing two goals at once, and with our CFO service, Unikoo is also in the cockpit.

  • Support with various compliancy-driven processes: from reviewing the employment regulations and developing a training plan in function of the employment deal to drawing up and optimizing various policies, including the work from home policy, working abroad policy and car policy.
  • Greening the fleet and introducing the mobility budget.
  • Talent Management care: updating existing and developing new job descriptions, identifying competencies and skill gaps within the organization as the basis of the training policy, developing evaluation and feedback interviews to promote employee development.
  • Support with other daily HR activities.
