StriveCloud originated as a software platform for the gaming community and evolved into a gamification specialist that helps companies worldwide make mobile applications more interactive and engaging. Using elements borrowed from the gaming world, such as leaderboards, streaks, and challenges, they boost retention, loyalty, and engagement by making the user experience rewarding and enjoyable. And let's face it: the software world could use a little fun.

From a community platform for gamers to a full-fledged SaaS company? That called for a solid repositioning. As StriveCloud grew into a mature SaaS business, it was time for a marketing strategy that reflected their B2B ambitions. StriveCloud's request was therefore fourfold:

  • They wanted a new brand story that aligned with the market position they aimed to claim.
  • The brand needed a more professional look and feel so potential clients would recognize their true value.
  • Their competitive edge had to be crystal clear from the start
  • All wrapped up in a visually compelling package

Leveling up through in-depth research

Our journey with StriveCloud kicked off with a thorough research phase: we interviewed StriveCloud's customers, analysed video calls with potential clients and leads, dissected the (online) reviews of the community platform and conducted extensive market research. We also took a close look at the existing website and Google Analytics data, and carried out an in-depth SEO keyword analysis. This gave us a complete picture of StriveCloud and a clear view of where we needed to score higher to claim a spot at the top of the leaderboard.

Based on all those insights, we developed a clear plan with concrete positioning recommendations. The foundation for everything that followed.

Respawn: a new StriveCloud, stronger than ever

Together with the StriveCloud team, we organised brand workshops to shape the new brand identity. We created a stylescape, crafted the new copy and developed a visual style that is professional, distinctive and recognisable in the B2B market.

With that strong strategic and creative foundation in place, we built a completely new website in Webflow. From structure and copy to design and development, every page was set up and written with the new positioning in mind, featuring new visuals and optimised according to the latest SEO best practices.

We also tackled StriveCloud's existing content, bringing it fully in line with the new brand story. A content library of over 200 blog posts, cases and whitepapers was updated according to the new brand strategy and the most current SEO guidelines. We rewrote content where needed and sharpened the tone of voice throughout. Consistent, efficient, scalable and fully aligned with the new positioning.

The result is a brand that not only looks more professional, but also communicates far more clearly what StriveCloud does and who it's for. Potential clients understand what the platform can do for them right away, and that makes all the difference when you want the right people at the table.
