Initially, the investment seemed too high to switch to a new webshop. So make do with what we have: our developers did their utmost to get the existing webshop up to date as well as possible. The number of breakdowns decreased drastically and the user experience improved enormously.

But the ambitions for the webshop grew and when the customer also decided to further digitize its operations, the right time had come to definitely break new ground. That's why we suggested making the switch to Shopify. The user-friendly platform would not only serve as a basis for a renewed and modern webshop, but Shopify also helps them to easily process B2B orders.

We added extra integrations and even built a real “Shopify app”. This allows Offroad and More, for example, to easily invoice, but also to manage the company's entire stock, administration and sales, even for products that are not part of the webshop.

After all, Offroad and More's range of products is much more extensive than what private customers can find online. The company's biggest income comes from B2B sales: garages that assemble the material on their customers' vehicles. Consequence? Not only does every screw, bolt or rod have to be ordered before assembly, delivering to B2B also requires adjusted VAT rates and maximum flexibility.

That's why we decided to design a custom Shopify application. This application can not only enter thousands of products into the stock or catalog at the same time, but also provides the necessary flexibility. For example, Offroad and More can combine B2B and B2C sales within Shopify, without having to worry about VAT rates, OSS regulations or even domestic or international sales.

So at Offroad and More, Shopify is more than just an online store. It is an administration tool, a sales channel, and even the core of their entire digital business.
