BouwXlence is an expertise firm that supports construction companies in striving for Operational Excellence (OpEx). With their unique, self-developed BouwXlence method and a combination of coaching, auditing, consulting, planning and implementation of software tools, the company offers practical solutions to various challenges on site, such as deadlines, high failure costs and poor communication.

The Project

BouwXlence came to Unikoo to ask for help with their website. They found the website too complex, too technical and overgrown with technical language (read: engineering jargon). The UNIKOO-ers rolled up their sleeves for a major online renovation. The end result? A user-friendly, clear and conversion-oriented website!

From planning to successful execution

From planning to a successful implementation, the managers have been able to count on support from our Unikoo-ers for several months in the field of:

  • Project planning: Since Hendrik and Wendy, the managers of BouwXlence, attach great importance to processes and planning, we developed a detailed project planning that they could fully support. After all, we like to adapt to the preferences of our customers!
  • Website design: Just like a sturdy structure, a website with a good structure stands or falls. It had to be as user-friendly as possible, so we looked for a user-friendly template that better matches the BouwXlence identity.
  • Copywriting: We used a “pull method” for the texts on the new website. We started from the perspective of the future customer and thought about what they want to see. From landing pages to cases to blogs, we provided a clear but above all informative website. And the SEO leads are now coming naturally!
  • Graphic design: We designed images and drawings for the new website to make it not only textually appealing, but also visually appealing.
  • SEO optimization: We set up Google Search Console to monitor and optimize website performance and conducted keyword research to identify relevant keywords.
  • Customer cases: We interviewed satisfied customers, which we then transcribed and transformed into exciting customer cases.

Excellent results

The question was simple: Hendrik and Wendy wanted a fresh, new and, above all, clear website that they feel good about. So no hard KPIs were agreed. Nevertheless, we achieved some results to say 'U' to:

  • A significant improvement in terms of SEO: where the website used to have only few or no visitors, we managed to increase web traffic to 115 individual visitors in six months. In addition, the rankings were shown in 2,930 search results. All of this organically, without any form of promotion.
  • An increase in the number of search terms with Google rankings rose from 0 to 108 in just one year.
